A master plan for the Athletic Department at Mesa State College has been drafted, which includes some major changes. As the college continues to grow, the athletic program is feeling the pressure. More and more students are taking classes in Exercise Science, using the recreational facilities, and playing sports. A master plan has been drafted to show where the Athletic Department hopes their facilities can be in the future. The plan includes a parking structure with a soccer field, more classrooms, locker space and some added indoor courts. Mesa State President Tim Foster and Athletic Director Jamie Hamilton are presenting the drawn out plan tomorrow night at the school board meeting.
