Norton To Be Replaced By Another Westerner
Denver (AP)- The Denver Post reports that President Bush will replace outgoing Interior Secretary Gale Norton with another westerner. White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card said it is a tradition to appoint a westerner to a job. He also said the White house will look for another pro–development candidate like Norton. She has aggressively sped up energy production.
