Well–known Fruita off–road adventure driver Bill Burke is teaching a unique group of ambassadors the fine art of off–road driving, all part of a new campaign to roll out the reincarnation of a legendary name, the Toyota FJ Cruiser. The group of drivers hails from coast to coast, and will take the new FJ to national meetings to introduce the vehicle to die–hard off–road fanatics.

Realizing that it's hard to fool experts, Toyota decided to train its team before sending them out.

Toyota New Product Education member Paul Williamsen says the company is serious about the FJ's off-road capability, and the team will be good-will ambassadors for the truck as well as the off-road community.

The team spent yesterday driving the desert near 29 Road before tackling Bangs Canyon today. Team FJ will be at the Moab EasterJeep Safari next month.
