Child Injured In Rollover Crash

Video will be available shortly.

A five–year–old child is ejected in a one–vehicle rollover crash on Interstate-70 Sunday afternoon.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the driver, 30–year–old Rachel Reimer from Cedar City, UT, was in the process of passing another vehicle on westbound I–70 between Grand Junction and Fruita, when one of the three children in the car unbuckled her seat belt. Reimer apparently lost control of the vehicle when she turned her attention to the child. The car rolled one time into the median and the five–year–old who was unrestrained was ejected. The family was transported to St. Mary's Hospital, the child who was ejected sustained a number of lacerations, however, her injuries are not life–threatening.
Reimer was cited for careless driving.
