A man who hand cuffed his son to a railing and beat him on a regular basis pleaded guilty in court Tuesday to two felony counts of child abuse.
Under a plea agreement, the man faces up to 16 years behind bars.
11 News is not releasing his name or picture in order to protect the young victim.
Investigators say the routinely beat his son with a belt and denied him bathroom privileges and food. The 16–year–old boy weighed just 95 pounds when he was able to escape and get help.
The man will be sentenced in August.
The boy's step–mother is also facing charges in the case.
