A man who helps troubled youth in Mesa County was honored tonight during the dinner of champions.
The National Multiple Scolrosis Society awarded Mesa County Partners director joe higgins with the hope award. Partners is a non–profit agency that works with troubled and high risk youth. Higgins is recognized for his commitment and service to the Grand Valley community.
Higgins also co–chairs the Mesa County Meth Task Force. The proceeds from the event will be donated to people and their families living with ms on the Western Slope.
