Police in Montrose have a good lead, but have yet to arrest the person responsible for calling in a bomb scare to the department's headquarters yesterday. All the employees at the Montrose Police department were told to get out of the building after the threat came in at around 1:15. The caller told an emergency dispatcher a bomb was located on the south side of the building. Members of the Montrose Fire Department searched the facility and didn't find any suspicious device.
The evacuation lasted for about 25 minutes. Investigators are tracking down leads that include a voice recording of the caller and telephone number.
