Grand Valley Transit ridership set a new record last month, and numbers are up double–digits from a year ago.
Nearly 74–thousand people rode on a bus in March...that's up more than 16 per cent from March of 2005.
Grand Valley Transit officials say that the ridership increase doesn't correspond to the rise in gas prices, saying instead the jump in riders is due to the convenience factor that allows people to get places easily and safely.
