Drivers may want to avoid State Highway 139 in Western Garfield County for the next couple days. Construction is scheduled to repair a portion of the highway over Douglas Pass that has been damaged by weather. The highway will be closed in 30 to 45 minute intervals so that crews can safely maneuver equipment in the single lane area. Until repairs are made wide loads are restricted to 14 feet.
