DENVER, Colo. Gov. John Hickenlooper says $12 million in grants will help repair 16 community water and wastewater systems affected by the September floods.

Hickenlooper's office announced Friday that the grants will fund planning, design and construction or improvement of systems damaged and destroyed by the floods.

Some of the money goes to Boulder, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties to help repair or replace private septic systems.

Jamestown will get $1 million to rebuild service lines so displaced families can finally return home.

The city of Boulder will receive more than $1.5 million in grant money.
