Attorneys Ask For More Time In Attempted Murder Case

Kevin Winchester, the 18-year-old accused of nearly stabbing his father to death waives his right to a preliminary hearing Friday. Winchester is facing charges of attempted murder and 1st degree assault for allegedly stabbing his dad 51-year-old Robert Winchester at his home the night of March 23rd. According to a family friend the father who is the assistant director of Sylvan Learning Center was scheduled to be released from the hospital Thursday. The incident left him unable to walk. Kevin Winchester is scheduled to be arraigned in July 7th.
