The new Colorado West Mental Health Facility has been open for a little more than five months. And while neighbors in the area are still skeptical they say so far there have been no problems to report. Nearly Colorado West Mental Health is also nearby a day care center and an elementary school. Crisis Stabilization Services Director Bob Oleskevich says his staff is fully trained to handle emergencies, and if he thought at anytime the community was in danger they would spring into action. Colorado West Mental Health doesn't treat sex offenders and says it's important to note that a vast majority of their clients are there on a voluntary basis. The public is invited to stop by and ask any questions they might have during an open house at the facility next Friday from four to six to celebrate its new outpatient services building.
