A group of colorado residents wanting to deny some state services to illegal immigrants is trying to make their voices heard on the western slope this weekend. The group Defend Colorado Now is holding two forums Saturday. One at the Country Inns of America in Grand Junction from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and the other at the public library in Delta from 10:30 a.m.- noon. The group is gathering signatures to place an initiative on the November ballot. The citizens' initiative aims to amend the Colorado constitution to deny non–emergency public services to people illegally living in Colorado.
