Colorado AAA Says High Gas Prices Shouldn't Put A Damper On Summer Travel

Video will be available shortly.

According to a recent study by the Colorado American Automobile Association, the high gas prices do not appear to be impacting summer travel plans.

The report found that bookings through AAA travel agency are up about ten percent compared to last year over the same time period. The time period covers summer travel starting Memorial Day and ending Labor Day weekend.

The increase in travel plans comes at a time when gas prices and vacation costs are increasing. And some people admit they're starting to feel the pinch at the pump.

If you want to compare the cost between flying or driving for your summer destination, you can check out AAA's fuel cost calculator on-line at www.fuelcostcalculator.com.
