Grand Junction Police Still Looking For To Man Who Dropped Of Shooting Victim At The Hospital

The investigation into how and why a woman was shot Sunday has Grand Junction Police Officers asking for the public's help. The woman who was shot in the abdomen is now receiving treatment in a Denver hospital for critical injuries.

The woman who was shot is 25-year-old Rebecca Jane Carroll. She was dropped off at Community Hospital's Emergency Room just before 6 p.m. by an unidentified man and police are now looking for him.
He is described as a white male in his early 20s.
He was driving a maroon-colored Mazda with a Colorado temporary license plate.

The victim was airlifted to a Denver area hospital Sunday night to receive treatment. At this time, she is in critical condition. Anyone with information regarding the victim or the man who dropped her off is asked to contact the Grand Junction Police Department.
