A two–car crash closes the intersection of 30 Road and B1/2 roads for an hour this morning, sending two people to local hospitals.
California resident Dianne Warner was driving north on 30 road when she failed to stop for oncoming traffic. Her car was broadsided by a car driven by Candice Faulks of Kentucky. Both drivers had minor to moderate injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Warner was cited by Colorado State Patrol troopers for failing to yield right of way when leaving a stop sign. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and airbags deployed in both cars.
