The Orchard Mesa Veterans Cemetery honored fallen veterans this morning by placing flags on their tombstones.
The cemetery has a section dedicated to U.S. veterans. Several people came out Memorial Day morning to remember their loved ones who have served for the country.
The Veterans Cemetery was started in the late 1800s and is one of the largest cemeteries in Grand Junction.
