Looking to reclaim their neighborhood, some Clifton residents talk safety and protection with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office Tuesday.
Following a fatal stabbing in April, residents at Candlewood Trailer Park are looking to come together, watch out for each other and help cut down on potential crimes that may occur.
Mesa County Sheriff's deputies and volunteers met with the more than two dozen residents, explaining that neighbors play a vital role in fighting crime.
Along with setting up a neighborhood watch, Clifton fire officials were also on–hand to tell residents that they can also play a role in medical emergencies by giving EMS crews important information concerning their neighbors.
