The Bureau of Land Management has issued citations to three recent graduates of Fruita Monument High School for allegedly vandalizing centuries old Indian rock art in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area. The graffiti artists used Fruita Monument's school colors late last month in a highly visible location in the Rabbit Valley Region. Fortunately, the BLM successfully removed the spray paint from the large boulder. The two 18–year–olds Christopher Browning and Amber Gile and a third juvenile were issued citations and are expected to appear in federal court on June 20th.
