A Grand Junction man was arrested Sunday afternoon around 1:30, after he used his car to force another vehicle off the road.
48 year old Douglas Murphy was driving near West Gunnison Avenue and Mulberry Street when he forced the victims car to collide with his own to get the victim to stop.
Murphy allegedly verbally threatened the victim, and said that he had a hand gun on himself. Authorities later found no hand gun, but Murphy is being charged for nine different offenses, including child abuse.
There was a 14 year old male in Murphy's car. The juvenile suffered minor injuries when Murphy collided with the victim's car. Murphy's other charges include false imprisonment for taking the victim key's and not letting the victim to leave and reckless endangerment for putting the juvenile and victim in danger of serious bodily harm.
