Beer Mogul Arrested For Drunk Driving

Golden, Colo. (AP)- Beer executive Pete Coors was arrested in May for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. Jefferson County court officials say Coors faces an arraignment next week after being pulled over in Golden on May 29th.

Coors says he made a mistake by driving himself home after a friend's wedding celebration. He says he should have planned ahead for a ride. Coors was driving a 2004 Jaguar when he was pulled over by the State Patrol just before midnight. He was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after registering a blood–alcohol level above the legal limit of .08. He was also cited for failing to obey a traffic control device.
