Defendant In Fatal Stabbing Pleads Guilty

Jonathan David Mild pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless manslaughter for the March 20th stabbing of Timber John Wolfe. The two were arguing outside a house on North 22nd Street in Grand Junction when Mild stabbed Wolfe in the back of his leg with a large knife. He severed major blood vessels and ultimately caused his death.

According to District Attorney Pete Hautzinger, Mild is facing up to 12 years in prison, however because the charge of reckless manslaughter doesn't carry mandatory prison time, it will be up to a judge how much time if any Mild will get.
