The man accused of leading the biggest meth ring ever discovered on the Western Slope pleaded guilty to his charges Monday.

Stephen Parsons appeared before a judge where he pleaded guilty to conspiracy, distributing a controlled substance, and one count of being a special offender. The special offender charge requires the minimum sentence of eight years.

Parsons was arrested last March during multi agency "Operation Zamboni." Parsons will be back in court this October for sentencing. He faces up to 24 years behind bars.
