The five year anniversary didn't stop people from taking to the skies at Walker Field. For those flying out of Walker Field, it was business as usual other than some flight delays because of bad weather in Denver.

Some travelers flying today say they questioned flying on 9/11, but because of better security, their fears were eased. Most also agree that its important to remember the events of 9/11, but acknowledge that you must go on living your life.

Because of the heightened security, Walker Field officials say to arrive an hour and a half before your flight departs.
