According to the Grand Junction Police Department, the juvenile was first spotted leaving Central High School with a semi concealed knife.
He then made his way to the Public Career Center on North Avenue where he was arrested. He was not taken to jail, but released to a parent. The juvenile didn't make any threats, but in light of the recent school violence that has plagued some schools across the nation; police say everyone in the community- teachers, parents, and students need to be attentive.
