At about 1:45 Thursday afternoon, two neighbors called authorities after they heard shots being fired from 316 ½ Parkwood Drive. Orchard Mesa Middle School, which is about a block away from the dispute, was immediately put on lock down. The Grand Junction Police Department arrived to the scene, setting up a barricade around the home.

No one was injured during the dispute, but police said there were reports of shots fired at the home. There were four people involved- three men and one woman, all of whom had been drinking all day long.

When police arrived at the scene, the woman exited the home where she was arrested for having a concealed 22 hand gun in her possession. Two other occupants also exited the home,
one of the men was arrested because he violated a restraining order against the same woman that was in the home. Police also set up a five man ballistics shield to enter the residence to remove another man who was extremely intoxicated. When they were inside the home authorities found additional weapons and a bullet hole on one of the walls inside the home. There are reports that the homeowner shot the gun a few times to scare off the boyfriend who showed up uninvited.

Orchard Mesa Middle School was on lock down for about thirty minutes, and police say everything went smoothly during the lock down because the school just had practiced a drill last week.

46 year old Keith Bambino, the man who violated the restraining order was also arrested on charges of first degree burglary and felony menacing. The other two involved aren't facing any charges at this time.
