Wayne Allard may or may not run for a third term as Senator, but Representative Bob Beauprez is hinting he may be interested in filling that vacancy if Allard holds to his vow to serve only two terms.
Beauprez hints that a run may be a possibility in an interview with a Denver television station. Beauprez is in his last days as a Representative and has already cleared out his Washington office.
He may not be the only Republican running the seat though, as former representative Scott McInnis has also been looked to as a possible candidate. Democrat Mark Udall has also strongly hinted he may run for the seat regardless of Allard's decision.
