While hundreds of people were getting frustrated by commercial airline travel, others were coping with their own delays.

Just east of the crazy scene at Walker Field terminal some of the rich and famous were also grounded, unable to fly east to Aspen and other resort areas. Because of that, West Star Aviation was having a banner day as dozens of private jets jammed the tarmac. Business today is nearly as good, and the weekend looks equally promising.

West Star Aviation manager Rick Brainard says jet fuel supplies are extremely low at Rilfe Airport and tight at Aspen, and customers are calling West Star to say they will be fueling in Grand Junction.

Among the celebrities making a stop at West Star was actor William Macy, who stretched his legs by walking his dog while waiting for his trip to continue.
