Rangley Police are being very tight-lipped about a homicide investigation.
The agency will only confirm that on Friday afternoon, it got a call that someone had possibly been murdered.
Investigators say they found the body of a white man inside a home and believe he was killed.
Officials say because this is an active investigation they are not releasing any details like where or how the murder happened.
An autopsy for the victim is scheduled for Sunday.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Rangley Police Department along with two other local agencies.
