Man Robbed After Trying To Assist A Driver In Trouble

Law enforcement are searching for suspects after a 26-year-old
Loma resident was robbed after trying to assist a woman who appeared to be having car troubles along Interstate-70.

Around 6 p.m. Friday, Aaron Lee was on his way to work in Parachute, when he noticed a woman in a dark blue Toyota extended cab pick up with the hood propped up near the Cameo truck stop.

Lee took a look at the engine when he was suddenly struck on the left side of his face, leaving him unconscious for a brief time and when he came to his wallet was missing.

Police say the vehicle reportedly fled on I–70 east and the woman is described to be of Hispanic or Indian decent in her 20's, wearing jeans and flannel shirt.

In addition, the truck has a matching dark blue windowless cab and anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
