More Than 350 Students Compete In Skills USA Contest

Western Colorado Community College also played host to the Skills USA Competition on Tuesday.

More than 350 high school and college students took part in the annual event. They were tested on their skills in machining.. welding.. automotive and diesel repair, 3D animation and much more. Organizers say it's important for students to come out and showcase their talents so they can see how they would be applied in the real world. Students also competed in leadership skill areas.
