The Grand Junction Street Crimes Unit arrested Leo Cyr and Nancy Singleton-Mckibben. Both were take into custody at the America's Best Value Inn on Horizon Drive around midnight Saturday.
Police say they found more than one gram of suspected methamphetamine in their possession, drug related materials, and a variety of weapons.
A search was also conducted on a storage unit rented by Cyr. Authorities said they uncovered more drug related materials and prohibitive weapons inside the unit.
Cyr and Singleton, both of Grand Junction, were booked into the Mesa County Jail and face special offender charges and a charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
