This week's Grand Valley Power Student of the Week is on the fast track to getting back to her roots.

Palisade High School Senior, Kersee Vanlandingham was born and raised in Palisade just like the three generations before her. She plans to continue this tradition, although she will move to Rangely for a couple years while she studies Dental Hygiene. This is something she is very familiar with.

Vanlandingham says, "I had braces for a while so I was always at the orthodontist. I'm really anal about how my teeth look and how others perceive that. Teeth are the first thing I notice on someone."

Vanlandingham is currently on the fast track program at Mesa State College. She plans to stay there until she finishes her general studies.
