Protest Against Large Banks

Thousands around the nation made a stand on Saturday against large bank corporations.

Here in Grand Junction a protest was held outside the Wells Fargo bank on Main Street.

Protesters say that big banks are taking money from Americans and loaning it out to illegal aliens for home loans. Saturday's demonstration was done in hopes that more Americans will take up this group's ideas and make a change.

Jim Haas with the Rocky Mountain Minute Man Organization, says, "People sit around and gripe all the time and wonder what they can do. This is one thing they can do. Come down and cancel your account today. Move your money into a bank or credit unit that does not offer the matriculate card."
