Four people were arrested on Wednesday after a search warrant was executed at the 900 block of Teller Avenue. Kelly Anderson, Michael Nilson, Brittany Oliver, and Nicholas Myers were at the home and all are facing charges for possessions of suspected meth with intent to distribute.
Police say they found an unknown type of explosive device in the home along with several weapons.
Brian Gregor, Grand Junction Police Department says, "Street Crimes Unit starts looking into investigations at a particular house and they collect as much evidence and then they wrote out a search warrant."
The Grand Junction Police Department's Street Crimes Unit was initiated in January and since then they have arrested over one hundred people on drug related charges.
