Van Filled With Tourists Rolls Down Embankment

A group of tourists from India get more than they bargained for when their van rolls down an embankment in Grand Junction.

According to police, the group stopped near Canyon View Park to change drivers at about two o'clock Saturday morning. When they got back on the road the driver of the van carrying nine people mistakenly got on the I–70 Frontage Road at the 24 Road roundabout. The driver then continued west straight through the intersection at 23 Road sending the van careening down an embankment.

Three people were taken to the hospital, none of the injuries was life threatening. The group was on their way to Las Vegas from Denver.

    What is wrong with our on and off ramps? Sopme one needs to take a look at these because sometimes they can be confusing.
