MSNBC Won't Broadcast Imus' Radio Show

New York (AP) - Cable Channel MSNBC is dropping its simulcast of radio host Don Imus.

The decision comes amid the swirl of controversy over Imus'
racial slur against the Rutgers University Women's Basketball team. A statement from NBC news says its decision not to re-broadcast ``Imus in the Morning'' is based on ``an ongoing review process'' and internal conversations with its employees.

The move also follows harsh criticism from civil rights activists and others. And Major Imus advertisers have been bolting.

Imus, who has apologized repeatedly, will be on a two-week
suspension starting Monday.
