Strawmatt's BAC at 0.29 The Night Teens Died

The man accused of killing two Mesa State College students during a high speed pursuit on I–70 had a blood alcohol content of almost three times the legal limit.

According to Park County court records, Patrick Strawmatt had a blood alcohol content of point two nine the night he allegedly killed Jennifer Kois and Jacob Brock.

Strawmatt is being held at the Mesa County Jail on a $1million bond. He's facing two charges of first degree murder, four counts of vehicular homicide as well as a 16 other counts.

Kois and Brock were killed March 22nd on Interstate 70 when Strawmatt allegedly rammed his car into the back of theirs while trying to outrun authorities.
