A motel employee calls Police after seeing suspicious materials in a room. When police arrive, they make four arrests.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department around 6 p.m. Wednesday night officers responded to the Two Rivers Inn Motel after receiving a report that suspicious items were found in one of the rooms. When police entered the room they found items consistent with counterfeiting.
Four people who were allegedly occupying the room at the time returned to the motel while Police were on the scene. Three males and one female were booked into the Mesa County Jail and could face charges of forgery and counterfeiting, both of which are felony offenses.
