One man is in custody and a teenager is injured after a hit and run crash on Orchard Mesa involving a motorcycle, a bicycle and a skateboard.
The accident happened around 5 p.m. near Unaweep Avenue and Highland Drive.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, a male described to be in his 20's was spotted driving an unregistered Kawasaki motorcycle at a high rate of speed.
At the intersection of Unaweep and Highland, the rider struck three teenagers, leaving a 16-year-old male with a broken leg.
The man then fled on foot, eluding police for about two hours.
The suspect then took off towards the river, where after about 15 minutes in the water, police were finally able to apprehend him.
However the suspect was, for some reason, naked when he was pulled from the river.
The suspect, who's name has not yet been released, faces a number of charges including leaving the scene of an accident and speeding.
