"This is something that has been proven over and over again that it does work," says Barbara Metsker of Community Cat Care. She is talking about spaying and neutering ferrell cats.

Ferrell cats have become a huge problem in the Grand Valley, a problem different organizations like Community Cat Care and Claws are trying to get a hold of. But they're not alone, they have the support of community members too.

Claws is a new organization that has only been here in Mesa County for about six months. Community Cat Care has been around since 2000.

But in a nut shell, both organizations and community members just want to see all pets, strays, and ferrell cats get spayed or neutered. It's all for the love of cats.

Gigi Robinson says, "They bring a lot of joy to all of us."
