Mesa State College broke ground for a new classroom building Tuesday morning.
The new 56,000 square foot facility will stand three stories high and include state-of-the-art lecture auditoriums, extended learning environments and even an outdoor deck. The building will also be energy efficient complete with geothermal technology.
It will be a general classroom building and will house the teacher education program and the business department.
