Meth is known for being a powerful and addicting drug and now a new form of this drug is on the streets and is targeting children.
Mass emails have been circulating warning parents about a form of methamphetamine that reportedly tastes like candy. Officials with the Drug Enforcement Agency say it resembles pop rocks and tastes like strawberry, peanut butter and orange.
"Its just another marketing ploy from dealers, it shows that they will try anything to get new customers even if it is kids," says Karen Flowers, Mesa County Drug Enforcement Agency.
