Vatican City (AP) There's a new “Ten Commandments” – this one issued by the Vatican for drivers.
These commandments tell motorists not to kill, not to drink and drive and to help fellow motorists in case of an accident.
The document warns that automobiles can be “an occasion of sin, ” particularly when used for dangerous passing. Motorists also are urged not to use their vehicles as “an expression of power and domination.”
The commandments also say that the young and “not so young” should be convinced not to drive under certain circumstances. And “guilty” motorists and their victims are urged to come together “at the appropriate time'' to undergo “the liberating experience of forgiveness.”
