A three month old baby that was ejected during a rollover accident has been released from the hospital and into the custody of the Department of Human Services while officials continue to investigate.

The crash happened at around 5:30 Saturday night near the Glade Park Store.

Officials say 25–year–old Lori Fickey of Clifton failed to negotiate a turn and rolled her car end over end twice before it came to a rest on all four wheels.

Fickey's 15–year–old sister and three month old daughter were ejected from the car. Fickey became pinned and had to be extricated.

All three were airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital. Fickey is reportedly in fair condition with broken bones. Officials say the 15–year–old has a fractured pelvis, a fractured rib, kidney damage and lacerations to her liver; no word on her condition because she is a minor. The infant suffered head injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

Chemical tests for Fickey are pending. Troopers say they found beer cans at the scene of the crash and none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
