Interstate-70 claimed the life of Thornton man.
The 59-year-old man crashed around 5:00 p.m. Sunday night in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 23.
The Colorado State Patrol says the man was towing a flat bed trailer when he went into the median, then over-corrected which sent him skidding across both lanes and off the road. The vehicle rolled one and a half times coming to rest on its roof.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene and investigators are looking at all angles to find out exactly what happened.
Troopers say the man was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
