If you plan to ride your motorcycle this weeken, do it for a cause and to help fund research for an incurable disease.

That's just what more than thirty riders are doing today during the 6th Annual Grand Valley M.D.A Ride For A Cure. Riders today met at Grand Junction Harley Davidson and rode together to Gateway Canyons Resort for a reception. Each rider raised at least sixty five dollars, and M.D.A along with the Grand Junction Hog Chapter raised more than ten thousand dollars.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a national volunteer organization devoted to helping people overcome neuromuscular diseases that affect more than one million Americans each year. The money raised today will be used to provide services and research for almost two thousand families affected by Muscular Dystrophy in Colorado.
