Spay and Neuter Campaign In Full Swing

Spaying or neutering your pet is an important part of controlling our pet populations which is what the Second Annual Grand Rivers Humane's Spring Spay Campaign is all about.

Thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Colorado Pet Overpopulation Fund this year's campaign is targeting low income households who would otherwise not be able to afford to have their pet fixed.

To qualify for the program the pet owner must have a Medicaid,
Marillac or a Quest Card, along with $25. The Grand Rivers Humane Save A Pet Thrift Store on Orchard Mesa and Mesa County Animal Services are participating in the event.
