Three people are injured in a rollover crash along Interstate 70 near the Colorado-Utah border.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a Dodge Durango was traveling east on Interstate 70 this morning when the right rear tire blew. The blow-out caused the SUV to roll more than two times.
One of the the three occupants was ejected from the vehicle. That person was reportedly not wearing a seat belt. Two people were airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital with undisclosed injuries. The driver was treated and released. All three are said to be from Ohio. They were traveling from Oregon.
Traffic was at a stand still for nearly an hour while the crash was being investigated. Utah Highway Patrol was first on scene with Lower Valley Fire Department also responding.
