The Grand Junction Fire Department's Hazmat Team is called out to a home in the Redlands after receiving a call of numerous small quantities of chemicals; some unknown.
It took the firefighters several hours to determine what the chemicals were.
The chemicals are along the lines of general house cleaners. There were some that were technical grade but nothing ruled to be threatening.
They will need to be disposed of properly. All chemicals can be disposed of at the Mesa County Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
